In addition to reducing uncertainties, we are introducing a new calibration service for Standard Platinum Resistance Thermometers (SPRTs). This service offers greater flexibility and cost-effective solutions without compromising precision.
What is SPRT Calibration?
SPRTs are used for high-precision temperature measurement, offering far greater accuracy than Industrial Platinum Resistance Thermometers (PRTs) or Resistance Temperature Detectors (RTDs). Unlike PRTs, SPRTs lack predefined tolerances and must be calibrated before use. Designed for the highest accuracy, SPRTs require calibration using the International Temperature Scale of 1990 (ITS-90) with fixed-point cells, to ensure the lowest uncertainties. They are essential for primary and secondary labs where precision is critical.

Standard Calibration – For clients needing low-uncertainty calibration for their standards. This service includes world-leading ISO 17025 commercial temperature calibration laboratories.
ISOTower Calibration Service – We are proud to introduce a new calibration option for shorter SPRTs and secondary standards. SPRTs with limited immersion depth, which are not suitable for primary calibration in full-size furnaces, can now be calibrated using our ISOTower system. This option provides cost-effective calibration while maintaining industry-leading precision.
